As I found myself working through my archive during this extended period at home, some works surfaced with a renewed pertinence in relation to this very moment. I decided to feature a selection of these works on my virtual exhibition page.
At home re-stages four video works that contemplate particular aspects of the current situation: the domestic dynamic, or lack thereof, and the particular rhythms of the everyday that we might experience now. These works are drawn from the installation time, 2006, which speculated on an underlying machinic interference emerging once these rhythms are superimposed and combined.
Domestic situations from 2016 is a series of images that explore the underlying tension and psychological precarity that may reside in the regular banality of domestic life.
